Our college is situated at Boisar nearly 3 k.m away from Boisar Railway station. Deep Education society was established in the year 2006 by Dr. Deepa Sankhe and Late Shri. Sachin A. Sankhe to meet the need of the area for excellence in Higher Education. Then it was the part of Thane District. The Talukas like Palghar, Dahanu, Talasari, Javhar are known as Tribal Talukas.

Pupils from these areas had to travel very long for higher education especially for B.Ed course. Keeping this need of higher education in teacher education our society took decision of starting Teacher Education college and A.G.S. College became the very first Teacher Education Institute in Palghar Taluka established by Deep Education Society.  Now our college is the part of newly formed Palghar District.
